A clear field. What arises.

This website reflects the visible trajectory of my career. Alongside it, an interior process of growth and transformation was unfolding. In 2004, I experienced an awakening that shifted the direction of my life and work. While I had always had a sensitivity to the numinous and a long-standing propensity for introspective self-reflection, this radical and profound change in consciousness deepened my engagement with the contemplative way. I began approaching each day as a form of spiritual practice. Silence, solitude, and sustained attention to stillness nurtured my receptivity the sacred.

I had found my calling. My greatest joy was to follow what I experienced as the divine and to remain in relationship to this creative spark as it moved through me. Over time, my orientation to work and identity changed. Professional monikers became less central, and roles and output less crucial to exploring this state of awareness. This in turn fueled a deeper desire for study, and a commitment to serve something greater than myself.

As such, my public work is an examination of how environments (relational, emotional, spiritual, and architectural) shape consciousness, and how consciousness can be re-attuned through form, space, object, and ritual. I employ a range of exploratory modalities and varied languages of expression to engage this inquiry. Shaped by function, audience, and context, these different thresholds of engagement lead into a unified body of work. More broadly, I remain attentive to how creative and spiritual engagement can respond to the conditions of our technological time, quieting the noise and helping us see and hear ourselves and one another more clearly.
